How To Remove Ps4 Warranty Stickers

   OK here's the deal, I am going to install modbo4.0 in my ps2 90001. I want to remove the clear plastic warranty sticker on the lesser temporarily for modding purposes without voiding. What is the best way to do this?

   One time y'all mod it, then you take lost your warranty anyway, and then why worry about it.

   I recall reading this along time ago, but not certain what your warranty sticker looks similar

   If you want to "go on" the void sticker on AND remove that screw, here'southward a tip:
   - using a fine pocketknife, gently lift off the sticker
   - yes, the VOID will announced on the sticker, just don't worry
   - remove the plastic encompass & the screw
   - put the plastic embrace back on (no screw in place this place)
   - flip the sticker upside downward and using a permanent black marking, or some black paint, pigment/mark the back side black.

   - this will take about iii coats, betwixt "each coat" let the black coloring dry out completely before reapplying. DO Non use a heat source to dry it, as this will ruin the sticker.

   - you will find with each blackness colored coating applied, the VOID symbol will be covered up. Since the Ps2 is black, and the reset of the bottom of the sticker if black, once yous put this dorsum on the Ps2 you will never know/meet that lilliputian "void" diction.

   - once the bottom is reapplied with a black blanket, apply a lilliputian scrap of glue stick to the sticker and put it back on over the original place.

   I have done this and it looks flawless, you lot can never tell that this sticker was removed.

   Retrieve, go on that screw out just in case you need to open the Ps2 again.

   Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I bought the twelvemonth protection plan from Fredmeyer as well(same day I bought the panel). Only I am not sure if when the Sony warranty sticker is removed and something perhaps goes wrong during the modding posses if Fredmeyer will all the same cover it. The terms of service says something like any production under $200 tin can be replaced practice to any wear and tear. also "A mechanical or electrical breakdown caused buy UNINTENTIONAL or Accidental harm from treatment the covered production is also covered. not completely sure..

   I am not sure either nearly that warranty.

   If your soldering skills are good, then you should have no problem.

   Just I think once you lot open up that PS2 and mod information technology, your warranty with either is invalid. I could be wrong.

   I guess that is a decision yous have to make and run across how information technology goes.

   My soldering skills are fine, I just am always worried about something going wrong. Simply I think i will use the blow dryer method to remove the sticker, whenever I return something to Fredmeyer, they don't seem to check it out that much. like just last calendar week, I returned a cleaved $120 air soft gun (In the original package), and the adult female at the counter didn't take second glimpse at it, never realizing the ugly tape I put on it to support the rail that bankrupt prier lol.

   lol, Your right, most of the time I take e'er returned items , they mainly check the reciept, ask what the problem was and thats about information technology.

   Never even look at information technology.
